3M 3939 Heavy-Duty Duct Tape is a robust tape constructed from a polyethylene film laminated to cloth with a rubber adhesive that is renowned for its excellent durability, adhesion, and ease of use in a variety of industries around the world. Ideal for construction and MRO applications, but useful in countless scenarios, this sturdy tape sticks immediately for up to one year while indoors, contours to irregular surfaces with ease, tears smoothly, and provides a tight moisture-resistant seal in many containment situations. Even with a powerful adhesive, this tape can be removed up to one month after application on opaque non-glass surfaces and leave behind little to no residue if used indoors, making it ideal for both permanent and temporary applications. The strong, water-resistant backing stands up to stress, resisting both abrasion and wear, and has also been tested for flame spread, certifying it can be used at temperatures up as high as 200°F for up to 30 minutes.
